Exhume Book Launch

Join Tatiana Figueroa Ramírez as she celebrates the launch of her third book and second full-length poetry collection, Exhume, published by FlowerSong Press. This collection works to honor, remember, and immortalize the women who have impacted Tatiana and have also passed on. It serves as an invitation for readers to also honor, remember, and immortalize the ancestors who have helped you arrive.

The afternoon will feature readings by poets invited by the author herself, an exclusive reading from Exhume by Tatiana Figueroa Ramírez, and a book signing. All of Tatiana's books will be available for sale on site.

Food & Beverage

Attendees will be able to purchase food and beverages from Busboys and Poets during the event. The restaurant's menu features inclusive options catering to a variety of dietary needs, such as vegetarian, vegan, halal, and gluten-free options.

Parking & Transportation

If you are arriving by car, Busboys and Poets Takoma does not have a dedicated parking lot; however, there is plenty of street parking in the area.

If you are arriving by metro, the Takoma metro station is a 5 minute walk away.
